Kevin Kodzis
President & Partner
Kevin Kodzis is the President and founder of The Boston Group. An expert in recycling and diversion, Kevin served as Senior Vice President of Republic Services, and Western Region Vice president for The Newark Group’s Recycled Fiber Division. Mr. Kodzis started the company in 2001 and with his leadership, The Boston Group has become one of the largest wastepaper trading companies in North America. Mr. Kodzis, with Mr. Klein have grown the company into a full waste management and diversion company with the founding of DC Environment waste management in 2007, which was sold to a private equity institution in 2019. In addition to the Boston Group, Kevin is the Managing Partner for UCC Recycling de Mexico. UCC Recycling is headquartered in Sonora, Mexico, which is the new vision into the Mexican Plastic and Paper market. Mr. Kodzis, originally from Boston, resides in Orange County, CA. Mr. Kodzis Attended Boston University.
Jeffrey Klein
Chief Operating Officer & Partner
Jeffrey Klein is Chief Operating Officer of Boston Group. With over 20 years experience in waste reduction and recycling management, Mr. Klein also serves as Chief Operation Officer for UCC Recycling. Previously, Mr. Klein was President of Belkin Paper Stock Inc., and Vice President of Paper Recycling International. A LEED Accredited Professional, Mr. Klein received his MBA from Pepperdine University, and his B.S. in Business Management from Arizona State University.
Marisol Rocha
Customer Service Mexican Operations
Multi Lingual and multi-talented Marisol has been in intricate part of the Boston Group success for over 15 years. In her role in UCC Recycling Marisol coordinates our day-to-day business in both the Southwest Region of the United States and Mexico. Originally from Southern California and the daughter of Mexican immigrants Marisol is deeply steeped in Mexican culture. This has proven to be an incredible asset to UCC Recycling as we continue our growth into the Mexican market place. She can easily navigate through complex issues quite easily through patience and understanding of another culture.
Lisa Jack
Manager of Exports and US Operation
With over 14 years of being with Lisa, she is second to none in both Export and Domestic movement. Lisa brings diligence and forethinking to our company while dealing with the ever-changing steamship line complexities. Lisa is the gate keeper to our transload yards, which is more of an art than a science which takes 10,000 hours of knowledge to keep this operating. Lisa, is the one that will give continue feedback to both our suppliers and customers, which is a credit to her fantastic communication and follow-up skills.
Kevin Kodzis Jr.
Vice President
Kevin Kodzis Jr. is the Vice President of the Boston Group. Kevin graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a BA in History where he was a member of the Varsity Men’s Lacrosse team. Before joining the Boston Group, Kevin was drafted by the Chesapeake Bayhawks in the Major Lacrosse League, and was a Business Development Director at Dakota, a financial sales and marketing firm that helps raise assets for institutional funds. At the Boston Group, he manages new business development along with corporate and regional growth.
Justin Lynskey
Manager Mexico-US Operation
Justin Lynskey is the Manager of our Mexico-US Operation. Justin received his MBA from Hofstra University and his BA in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross. Justin was a member of the varsity lacrosse team at Holy Cross and used his fifth year of eligibility to play an additional year at Hofstra. Before joining the Boston Group, Justin was on the Alternative Investments team at U.S. Bank. At the Boston Group, Justin manages our logistics operations and aids in new business development.
